Privacy Policy

1. Scope, operator, and contact

This policy covers topicradar.io and TopicRadar account, feed, article, AI curation, draft, sharing, and paid-subscription features. The data controller and service operator is Stellar Byte Technology Corp., a corporation organized in British Columbia, Canada. Its mailing address is British Columbia, Canada; the complete postal address is available on request. Send privacy requests to support@topicradar.io.

2. Data we process

  • Account/authentication: email, user ID, provider, creation/recent-authentication times, and potentially name/avatar from Google.
  • Product: feeds/keywords, curation requests/results, drafts, public-share identifiers, preferences, plan, and quota usage.
  • Payment: Stripe customer/subscription/price/invoice identifiers, status, currency, and interval. Stripe processes full card details; TopicRadar does not store them.
  • Device/operations: IP, browser/device, timestamps, routes, error traces, and security events.
  • Optional analytics: Google Analytics page/conversion events only after consent; refusal does not affect core service.

3. Purposes and grounds

We perform our contract by providing accounts, curations/drafts, subscriptions, and support; rely on legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and necessary Sentry error/performance diagnostics; and use Google Analytics with consent. Using TopicRadar does not enroll you in marketing.

4. Main processors and transfers

  • Supabase: authentication/PostgreSQL; Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, invoicing, fraud.
  • Vercel: web hosting/edge logs; AWS: API, data processing, operational logs.
  • Alibaba Cloud Qwen: article content/prompts needed for curations/drafts; do not submit sensitive personal data.
  • Google Analytics: consented analytics; Sentry: necessary error, performance, and security diagnostics.

Providers may process data outside your location. We rely on provider data-protection terms, standard contractual clauses, or another applicable transfer mechanism, with supplementary safeguards where required.

5. Retention, deletion, and public shares

Account/product data remains while the account exists. Deletion removes or anonymizes data reasonably removable. Payment/security records needed for tax, accounting, fraud, disputes, security, or law remain for the applicable period; backups expire by operational rotation. Anyone with a public-share link can view it. Exact log/backup schedules must be finalized in an operator retention register and legally reviewed.

6. Your rights

You may decline optional analytics, manage/delete an account in Settings, or request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. We verify identity and respond under applicable law. You may complain to the competent regulator.

7. Security, children, and changes

We use access controls, encrypted transport, logging, and backups, but no system is absolutely secure. TopicRadar is not directed to anyone under 18. Material changes will carry a new date and appropriate notice.
